Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-05. This document is a working draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before public launch.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using OmegaPLC (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
OmegaPLC is a PLC parameter audit tool for Rockwell L5X and LS XG5000 exports. The Service parses your uploaded file, runs a set of deterministic rules, and forwards each finding plus limited project context to the Google Gemini API using a key you provide (BYOK).
3. BYOK responsibility
You are solely responsible for the Gemini API key you register, including the costs Google bills against it. We do not charge for audits, but you must ensure your key has sufficient quota / billing configured for the volume you intend to run. We are not liable for charges incurred against your key, including via misuse, credential leakage, or runaway usage.
4. No safety / engineering warranty
The Service is an automated linter, not a substitute for qualified controls engineering review. Findings may have false positives or miss real issues. Output is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any specific industrial process or safety application. Compliance with IEC 61511, ISO 13849, KOSHA, UL, KISA, or any other standard is the responsibility of the qualified engineer signing off the final PLC project.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not upload content you are not legally entitled to audit.
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or workspace isolation.
- Do not use the Service to generate exploit content or to attack other systems.
- Comply with all applicable laws including export controls.
6. Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, generate abusive load, or pose a security risk. Where lawful and practicable we will notify you before suspending.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The operator's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid to the operator in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for BYOK users with no platform fee, is zero).
8. Changes
We may revise these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page and via the registered email of each account.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
